Overview

An image mosaic of the CBERS-4A images covering the Paraíba State in Brazil. It was created from a CBERS-4A data cube, with 55 meters of spatial resolution images, 3 months of temporal step (from July until September), for the year of 2020, using the Least Cloud Cover First (LCF). RGB composition of the NIR (B16), Red (B15) and Green (B14) bands.

The technologies developed in the Brazil Data Cube project helped in the generation of the mosaic, mainly in the stages of scene selection and composition of tiles free of clouds and cloud shadows. The product generation uses the composition function (Stack) to select the best pixel belonging to the months of July, August and September 2020.
The step of joining the tiles and cutting was done manually, and finally, Geotiff was converted from 16 bits to 8 bits to save space. The final product is an RGB color composite of the respective NIR (B16), Red (B15) and Green (B14) bands.
